Korean version of Hana Yori Dango set to air on KBS

Great news! The Korean version of “Hana Yori Dango” is becoming a reality.

KBS just announced that it will air “Hana Yori Dango” this December, ending their drama line-up for 2008. No word out yet on who’s going to play the lead roles, but since it’s produced by renowned director Jeon Ki Sang (My Girl) and writer Yoon Ji Ryun, we should be in good hands.

Group 8, the production company who failed miserably with “Goong S” but also produced stellar results with “Couple or Trouble”, is in charge of this remake. Let’s hope that this one is a hit.
